Data Deletion

You have the right to request the deletion of your personal data held by Memory Lake. This includes your account information, memories, uploaded media, and any other data associated with your profile.

You can request data deletion in the following ways:

• Email us at privacy@memory-lake.com from the email address associated with your account. We will process your request within 30 days.
• Facebook Login users — if you signed in via Facebook, you can also remove Memory Lake from your Facebook apps at any time. Facebook will notify us, and we will delete your data automatically.

Upon processing your deletion request, we will remove:

• Your account and profile information
• All memories, memorials, and gallery images you created
• Contributions (guestbook entries, fund pledges, tasks, etc.)
• Payment history records

Certain information may be retained where required by law, such as transaction records for tax and accounting purposes. These records are anonymized and kept only for the legally required duration.

We will process your deletion request within 30 days. You will receive a confirmation email once the deletion is complete. If you have a paid plan, we will also process a refund for any unused portion (prorated).
